Born and raised in Malaysia, Ryan Wong is a performing artist seeking to begin his career in the United States. He began his career at the age of 14 by performing in various street dance events and corporate functions.

In 2016, he competed in Malaysia's largest street dance competition AstroBattleground which aired on national television. That competition provided Ryan the opportunity to work with world renown dancers such as Brian Puspos, Quick Crew, Hok of Quest Crew & 1Million Studio's Funky Lia. Beating out 300 dancers, Ryan was 1 of 50 to make it through the auditions. He proceeded to secure his spot in the top 20 which brought him to Korea where he trained and competed with international dancers before getting knocked out in the semi-finals.

Ryan has since been featured in multiple magazine articles and panels discussing the stigma and stereotypes geared toward male dancers. He believes it is crucial to discuss how men deal with eating, mental and emotional disorders just like women do. Ryan continues to advocate for a healthy form of expression for men and hopes they find comfort in the performing arts.

In his senior year, Ryan was co-creator of the show Words We Wish We Said in which he played the role of Silas Wu. His passion for performing and creating still burns within him and he dreams of performing on a stage as big as Broadway or Westend. He also is looking to get involved in films when given the opportunity.
